SLOVENIAN GENE POOLS
Slovenia certainly has a human gene pool I'd like to tap into, but not a canine one.
There is a shortage of good dog genes here, as well as the legs to wear them.
One can't spend much time here and not notice the large number of short-legged dogs, and the number of, well, unattractive ones too.
How can a country with such well-proportioned humans, produce such poorly proportioned dogs?
In fact, our next tourist stop is the local Humane Society in order to gain some insight into this
genetic phenomenon.
Until then, here is some anecdotal evidence.
