EAST, WEST, and IN BETWEEN

Today's post is by region

For all you Ashevillinians, and Chapel Hillineans out there:

When you come to Ljubljana you'll need to bring your own freshly laid local eggs, your Kombucha, your herbal remedies, and any organic produce you may want. But you will like the unusual playgrounds, the city's love of the arts, and Slovenia's progressive environmental stances.

Oh, and be sure and go for a Burek while your here, as that will be one of the few vegetarian choices you'll have

.

For the older and less hip Oregonians and Greensboroites, you may want to study graffiti only when painted on old beautiful doors.

AND, here is a photo of an Umbrella shop taken just for you. Notice the "skeletal display"?

For those of you in DC,
the Natural History Museum of Ljubljana should make you feel right at home. It may
rival even your Smithsonian Museum---well, the doors will anyway.

And the frequent graffiti will certainly seem familiar to you.

WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL US WHO WEASLEY IS? ---because he is certainly well known in Ljubljana.

And finally, for all those Alaskans out there -- Do you think the variegated plumage of Slovenia's ubiquitous Hooded Crow, would add or detract from Tlingit art?

What are those little balls on that tree? Inquiring minds and Weasley want to know.

It has become clear -- It is Ron Weasley's face that adorns the walls and doors of Ljubljana.
