This post NOT recommended for those of you who have not yet seen Colin Firth and Jenifer Ehle in Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice".
Dearest Fellow Bloggists,
Since writing the last post, something has occurred of the most unexpected and serious nature. But I am afraid of alarming you. Be assured that we all are well. What I have to say relates to the poor apt.
An express came at noon today, just as we were all going out to Verba. The post was from
Gorazde, the apt owner, to inform us that he had something for us, that we might could use. To know the truth, it was quite a large package, a very large package indeed. You will imagine our surprise and shock. To Zue however, it did not seem so wholly unexpected.
But bloggists, I am very, very sorry to say that it is quite an imprudent a match on both sides -- simply too big for the apt, and the apt is simply too small for it -- As imprudent a match as say, Lydia and a Mr. Wickham might be. But I am willing to hope the best, such as a countertop, and that his character has been simply misunderstood. Gorazde's choice is disinterested at least. He must know that our apt needs many small things, such as frying pans, kitchen tools, sheets, and bathmats. We expect to open it soon. But I must conclude. I can not bear to wait any longer. I shall write again as soon as I have news.
Yours in Anticipation,
Silence
